Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to software licenses, custom development projects, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and related services purchased from KC Softwares / DigiTech.
1. Custom software development
- Before work begins: If you cancel before project kick-off, advance payments may be refunded minus 10% administrative fee.
- After work has started: Payments for completed milestones are non-refundable. Work-in-progress is billed proportionally.
- Delivered projects: No refund once final delivery and sign-off are completed.
2. Off-the-shelf software licenses
- 7-day evaluation: If a written evaluation period was agreed and the software does not meet documented requirements, a full refund may be issued within 7 days of license activation.
- After 7 days: License fees are generally non-refundable as the software has been activated and delivered.
- Duplicate purchase: Accidental duplicate license purchases will be refunded or adjusted within 14 days.
3. AMC & support contracts
Annual Maintenance Contracts are non-refundable once the service period has started. Unused months may be credited toward upgrades at our discretion.
4. Google Play purchases
Android apps published on Google Play are subject to Google Play refund policies. Request refunds through Google Play where applicable. Free apps have no purchase refund.
5. How to request a refund
Email rahul@digitechhp.com with:
- Invoice / receipt number
- Product name and license key (if applicable)
- Reason for refund request
- Date of purchase
We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10–15 business days.
6. Exceptions
Refunds may be denied if:
- License terms were violated
- Software was used commercially beyond evaluation terms
- Chargeback was initiated without contacting us first
